Jörg Oeuil was born a very long time ago. So long ago, in fact, that he can no longer remember it. He cannot even remember his own death.
Jörg Oeuil is one of those contented souls who treat what truly matters as if it were of little importance. He is not the sort to ask questions.
And why should he?
There is only one thing he knows for certain: he awoke at sunrise, aching all over, unsteady on his feet, nursing a pounding headache and in a thoroughly foul mood, burdened with a pair of cumbersome wings that were impossible to control. Far too large for his slender frame. Hampered by this unwanted appendage, Jörg Oeuil felt utterly ridiculous.
