SHAKE UP THE BOUNDARIES OF YOUR READING

Launched in 2014 by author Émilie Malburny, Lilys Éditions was born out of her meeting with Brigitte Guilbau. Together, they have published three novels: Le cri du Yéti (The Yeti's Cry), about free will; Mémoire d'écume (Memory of Foam), about suicide; and La quatrième fée (The Fourth Fairy), about organ donation.

These themes immediately set the editorial line for the publishing house: to publish diverse perspectives on our society in order to question perceptions and choices. Émilie then discovered the work of Noëlle Michel, whose first novel, Viande (Meat), a critique of industrial farming, she published in 2020.

In 2025, she also published Caroline Allan, author of the children's series Les aventures du suppositoire (The Adventures of the Suppository), with a novel about intergenerational relationships: La petite annonce (The Classified Ad).

Since its inception, Lilys Éditions has published works on grief, shyness, health, illness, paedophile crime, criminal psychology and 20th-century history.

Since 2017, in response to the issue of gifted children, by publishing Hello de la planète zèbres, which continues to address sensitive issues, the publishing house has opened up to children's publications and now has seven titles for 3-12 year olds.
